Mrenh Kongveal is a non-human spirit realm that reflects our own world like a mirror. Most of the time, we refer to them as young cowherds or buffalo herders.
This belief is connected to offerings like rice and water packed in bamboo tubes, which we bring when going into the forest to collect resin, harvest forest products, or hunt animals.
Sometimes, these trips last up to half a month, during which we are absent from our homes and villages, and our invisible spirit enters that mirror-like world — the forest realm. Because Mrenh Kongveal are also children, people sometimes hear them murmuring or whispering, but cannot see them. These spirits are said to appear only in the forest.
