Maeva Pimo is an archivist with a degree in Cultural Heritage Management from Senghor University in Alexandria, Egypt. She is a young professional committed to the preservation and safeguarding of African cultural heritage and is particularly interested in issues of inclusion in museums. She is currently a PhD student at the University of Vienna and a university assistant (Pre Doc) as part of the EU-funded Global conservation (GloCo) project. Her research focuses on questions of inclusion in museums in Africa, with an emphasis on minority and gender archives and objects.
